Chris and Katie had their engagement shoot at the Hickory Lodge in Carbondale.
This is where it all started – Camp Ondessonk, where Kyle and Emma first met. I really enjoyed my visit there. Not only did I get to photograph this wonderful couple, I also got to hear their story and a tour of the place. I can’t wait to be at their wedding in May, and to be back at the camp for their reception.
A quick preview of Jordan and Erin’s engagement session yesterday at Walker’s Bluff in Carterville, IL. It was probably around 41 degrees and Jordan and Erin made it look like it was Spring – thank goodness for the wonderful staff who started the bonfire for us. Unfortunately, I won’t be photographing their wedding as they are headed to Mexico sometime in the Summer to get married.
Beautiful Vienna, IL was the backdrop for our Saturday session. It was such a beautiful day until I got there – Vienna has their own weather and decided that it was going to be cold and foggy, which would have been perfect except none of us were really prepared for it. Despite the weather change the session turned out great – looking forward to the wedding day sometime in Spring/Summer of 2011.
The ceremony was held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Herrin, IL followed by a beautiful reception at the Old Firehouse in West Frankfort.
